Why No Primer?

Traditional systems require:

• Etching Primer – improves adhesion but is not eco-friendly
• Synthetic Top Coat – gives weather resistance and color retention

Sengkote DTM SK-950 combines both into one product — a water-based, direct-to-metal coating with excellent adhesion + long-lasting weather protection, eliminating the need for etching primers.

• Thinning Ratio: 5% (brush/roller), 15% (air spray)
• Thinner: Clean water
• Recoating Interval: Minimum 3–4 hours (30°C)

• Theoretical Coverage: 6–8 m²/kg (1 layer)

• Passes 400-hour Salt Spray Test (SST) without blistering
• Maintains excellent adhesion after Water Immersion Test (50°C water for 48 hours)

Application Instructions

• Clean the metal surface thoroughly from rust, dust, oil, or dirt
• Stir Sengkote DTM well before use
• Dilute with 5–15% clean water depending on the application method
• Apply evenly to the substrate and let it dry completely
• Apply a second coat if necessary for optimal performance
