SAMHWA S-COAT E41 EPOXY COATING A+B 3.2+0.8LITRE

S-COAT E41 is a amine-adduct epoxy coating designed for protection of steel and concrete surfaces. It has excellent adhesion and durability with abrasion, corrosion, chemical, water and oil resistances.

Usage
Used for steel and cement surfaces chemical, oil and abrasion resistant coating is required.
*It is recommended for non-immersion services

Application Procedure

1. Surface Preparation
Steel Surface
Blast cleaning to minimum Sa 21/2 ISO 8501-1:1988 or other equivalent international standard
The primed surface free from any abrasive residues, dust, oil, moisture and other contaminants.
Concrete Surface
Prepare the surface free from any loose cement, dust, oil, moisture and other contaminants.

2. Environmental conditions
Air temperature : 10~35℃
Surface temperature : 5~30℃
Relative humidity : up to 85%
Dew Point: 3C

3. Application Equipment
– Conventional or airless spray, power mixer, roller
– Airless spray: Tip size-0.017~0.023inch
                         Output pressure-2100psi/143atm
-Recommended thinning ratio: about 5~20%

4. Safety precautions
1) Mixing ratio must be observed and uniformly stir with a power mixer for about 3~5minutes before use. (Use an electric mixer from 1000RPM,500W)
2) Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
3) Keep adequate ventilation during application.
4) Use the mixed material within pot life.(25℃,4hrs)
5) Do not mix with other paint products.
6) If necessary, add up to 10% thinner by volume for application by Roller and brush, airless spray
7) If it is to be applied over steel, it has to be used in combination with the appropriate primers
