DULUX WEATHERSHIELD ROOF 5 LITRE (ROOFSHIELD)

Dulux Weathershield Roof is a high quality, highly durable 100% acrylic based emulsion with a smooth finish and mid sheen.

USAGE

It is specially designed for the protection and the decoration of old and new roofs such as cement fibre sheet and unglazed roof tiles. It may also be used on concrete or cement fibre pipes.

Note: Dulux Weathershield Roof paint system is not recommended for glazed tiles. However, it can be used on old glazed tiles which have lost the glazed film.

FILM PROPERTIES
Water Resistance Will tolerate the levels of atmospheric humidity present in exterior environments.

THEORECTICAL COVERAGE

-A guide to the theoretical coverage which can be achieved under normal conditions is 20m²/5 litre

COMPOSITION(nominal)
Pigment: Lightfast Non-Lead Pigments and Mineral Extenders.
Binder: Acrylic Emulsion.
Solvent: Water.

VOLUME SOLIDS : 50% (nominal), some colours will vary.

SURFACE PREPARATION

-Surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure good adhesion. Remove all loose or defective paint or powdery residues by thorough brushing or scraping, using a stiff fiber brush with running water or
high pressure water jet.
-Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae, and moss with Dulux Fungicidal Wash.
-Repair minor cracks before painting. Use a sand and cement mix for larger holes and cracks. Allow to dry before priming with Dulux Weathershield Roof Primer.
-Note: Paint will not adhere on dirty and powdery substrates which are not thoroughly cleaned. Do not apply Dulux Weathershield Roof during wet weather
